Ali Alarabi Biography
Ali Alarabi is the co-host of the online, on-demand Internet TV program, "CounterPoint."
He is a former reporter and a veteran Arab American journalist writing on issues of the Middle East, Religion and Culture.
Alarabi served as media strategist and spokesman for several institutions and civic organizations.
He has appeared numerous times on local and national US media, such as Fox News , ABC, NBC, CBS, NPR,and others, speaking and providing in depth analysis and commentary on the War in Iraq, Israeli/Palestinian conflict, Arab culture, security and terrorism analysis.
Alarabi has written numerous articles and OP-ED pieces, on the Middle East and other topics, in major US newspapers such as the Chicago Sun-Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Herald-ledger, Sun-Sentinel, Greenville News, The Oregonian, and many more.
Alarabi has lectured at institutions among them Noterdame University, University of Illinois, on Middle issues and conflicts, security and terrorism issues, media coverage of the Arab and Arab American causes, and on Arab culture .
Member of the Headline club, and the society of professional jounalists (SPJ). And he is a founding member, Director of American Media, of National Arab American Journalist Association, NAJA.
